1861 Austria / Hungarian territory – letter to Bártfa and forwarded to Janó with two 3kr stamps – medical data collection on the smallpox epidemic of 1861/62
150 €
With the rarely seen two 3kr stamps on cover, although the letter was 1kr overpaid, but still an impressive piece. The presumed reason for the overpayment was that the Budapest Medical Association, which was predominantly used the local mail service, only stock the 3kr stamps, which corresponded to the local tariff.
